Labor Negotiation Representation
The NCA negotiates the Master Labor Agreements with the Carpenters, Laborers, Operating Engineers, Cement Masons and the Teamsters.
Labor Contract Administration
The NCA provides many years of experience in offering interpretation of existing labor contracts and settling disputes originating from interpretation and intent of language in the Master Labor Agreements.
Grievance and Arbitration Representation
Within the terms of labor agreements written grievances do occur. The NCA provides quality and experienced representation for members in grievance and arbitration hearings.
Group Self Insurance (workman's comp)
NCA members can exit from the State Industrial Insurance System (SIIS) and become part of a Group Self-Insurance Program utilized to decrease workman's compensation premiums and provide additional safety services.
Legislative Lobbying
A legislative lobbyist representing NCA Member rights is provided with membership.
Newspaper Promotion of Members
The NCA owns the Nevada Contractor, a monthly industry trade newspaper distributed throughout the state. Along with NCA member promotions, Nevada Contractor carries news for the construction and mining industry including present and future projects, legal advice, safety, health, contributing articles on legislative issues, tax strategies, OSHA/MSHA and other governmental enforcement agency updates.
Levels of Membership
The NCA Structure provides 4 classifications of membership:
Director Member
Must be working in the construction business and possess a valid Nevada contractors license. As a Director Member you will also be entitled to serve as a member of the Executive Committee and may participate in any election or matter to be submitted to the general membership to vote.
Contractor Member
Must be working in the construction business and possess a Nevada contractors license.
Affiliate Member
Must be working in the business of contracting and represented by the Association's bargaining unit and possess a Nevada contractors license.
Associate Member
May not be actively working in the business of contracting and does not need to have a Nevada contractors license.
Committees
As a member of Nevada Contractors Association, you will be able to serve as members of committees and attend all functions. The committees and meetings provide an informative forum through which issues effecting the construction industry may be addressed.
Membership Dues
Nevada Contractors Association has a unique and affordable due structure. All your membership requires is a low annual rate of $750. There are no volume dues to pay to our association. We also provide a wide range of "FREE" services and support to our members.

Luncheons
NCA has quarterly luncheons for its members and guest. We arrange for individuals to speak at these functions who are knowledgeable about issues effecting the construction industry. The meetings provide an atmosphere conducive for networking by allowing members to exchange information and ideas in a relaxed and social environment.
